The MV Reo Moana was built in Picton by Rodger Carey in 1964.
She is a traditional Kauri built Vessel originally built for Passenger and sight seeing work for The Red Funnel Line in the Marlborough Sounds.
The Reo Moana was purchased by Abalone Cruises in 1999 and has been running the most popular and successful cruises on Auckland Harbour ever since.
